    1. 15th July 2002 to Date: -
      • Employed formally by the Ministry of Health, and later the Ministry of President's Office Regional Administration and Local Government of the United Republic of Tanzania working as Medical Officer In - charge at Tarime District Hospital, Mara.
      • Regularly assuming the roles of Acting DMO, when he is away on other duties.
    2. April 2001 to May 2002:-
      • Employed by the Ministry of Health of the United Republic of Tanzania, and working as a Medical Officer II at Bugando Medical Centre, Mwanza.

      VI: SEMINARS, WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCES

      1. Attended and represented District Medical Officer in the 6th Lake Zonal Reproductive and Child Health Conference held from 07th -09th Juna 2005 at Geita, Mwanza region.
      2. Attended Workshop on International capacity building on Hospital management by InWent, Dar Es Salaam from 02/05/2005 to 06/05/2005, a certificate was issued.
      3. Participated in the Phase II workshop on "Health system research Methodology: Data analysis and Dissemination" organised by Ministry of Health Tanzania, at Morogoro Hotel, for 3 weeks from 18th April to 4th May 2005

      12. Attended a workshop on "District Demand Driven Capacity Building (D3CB) for Lake zone" organised by DANIDA Tanzania at Musoma for One week
      13. Attended a 2 weeks training seminar on "Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses" organised by the Ministry of Health, at Tarime Hospital 2003.

      1. Vice president: Tanzania Medical Students' Association (TAMSA), from Jan/ 1994 TO Jan 1996.
      2. Chairman: Standing Committee for Refugees and Public Health of the Tanzania Medical Students' Association (SCORP), from March 1996 TO March 1998.
      3. Chairman: Scientific committee for the 5th International conference on HIV/AIDS and Youths" organised by the Federation of African Medical Students Associations (FAMSA), Eastern and Central African region, and held on 16th - 22nd Dec. 1996, in Dar es salaam.
      4. Co-Founder Editor: Dar es salaam Medical Students' Journal (DMSJ), from June 1999 to 2002. The journal is currently run by the TAMSA, Muhimbili branch.

      B: HEALTH EDUCATION PROVISION

      1. HIV/AIDS
        • October-November 1996: Participated in Health education provision on HIV/AIDS to primary and secondary school youths in Dar es salaam, organised by TAMSA, and Eastern and Central Africa FAMSA regional Office.
        • 25th June - 11th July 1999: Participated in Health education provision on HIV/AIDS to the public during the 1999 Dar es salaam International Trade Fair, organized by the National AIDS control program (NACP) of Ministry of Health, TAMSA, and TOYOTA.
        • 1st - 3rd December 1999: During the National AIDS DAY FAIR, in Dar es salaam, organized by the NACP and TAMSA.
      2. SUBSTANCE USE.
        • 1998: Health education on "effects of long term Tobacco use" to the Disabled school children at Mgulani Salvation Army unit.
        • 25th March 1998: Health education on "Tobacco use and effects of Advertising on future intentions to smoke" to the members of St. Xavier's society, Dar es salaam.
